New Build - 005

New build!

http://www.mediafire.com/?eyymrdsyv1gz9kl

I managed to get totally confused and did a load of work on an older back up accidentally, so I am now a little unsure as to what I have in the latest version, because I am just awesome like that. I am tried to put back in all the stuff I "lost", but there's bound to be some stuff I missed and will have to re insert. So, might still be some old bugs knocking around, sorry guys. Just yell at me about them again.

New stuff includes - weather system, a fistfull of new enemies, an option to select a starting day with the test character, extended stuff with pharmacy, added the sea front area with some stuff to do there. And a clown-girl. And weapons, of a sort. And probably more. I need to keep better notes.

I'll list the new enemies and where to find them in a bit. A couple of them are "nope" ones rather than cute monster girls, because they are more interesting to write. It is possible that I am leaning to the horror rather than porn element too much in this updates enemies. Blame the weather.

All reports/comments/etc welcome.

New Release this Weekend

Things have been a bit crazy, but we're on schedule for a new version being ready for you to download sometime this weekend.

Aside from minor bug and typo fixes and things, it'll include a new semi random weather system, which'll subtly effect some stuff such as enemy encounters, a big expansion to the Pharmacy, and at least four new enemies. It's kind of hard to judge the exact amount of enemies in the game - would you count the different stages of their mutations as different forms, or not? - but we should be around 40 in the new release.

If you have any suggestions of what you'd like to see in the game - or here on the dev blog - just ask away in the comments.

Here is a nice little map TheDarkMaster from Fenoxo's forums made for the town. It might welp anyone who's feeling a little confused about the towns layout. I like it a lot, really helps give the town a sense of being a solid place.

And We're Live

Okay!

This is the devblog for "Mutant Minx Meltdown - Rise of the Monster Girls", and this is the first post on that devblog.

"MMMRMG" is a text based erotic/pornographic adventure/rpg game, made using Renpy and set approximately in the present day. The male player character is trapped in a small town on an island after a mysterious outbreak has caused all the women on the island to become sex crazed nymphos. The island has been placed under quarantine for 40 days, and the player has survive until it is lifted. As time goes by, the infected women begin to mutate, becoming more dangerous. The sex has mostly femdom themes, as you might guess from the set up.

You move around the game world through a series of menus - "Explore" areas to find further areas to explore, and "scavenge" in them to search for food, which you'll need to survive. Sexual contact with infectees will add to your infection rating, which currently will kill you if it reaches 100%. If you lose a combat while you are carrying food, there's a fair chance your opponent will steal it after screwing you, so it's best to return home once you have gathered a few days forth of supplies.

There are no levels as such, but as you explore and win combats, you'll gather experience, which you can use to increase your stats by training, once you have found the relevant items.

The game has a somewhat campy vibe to it, I like to think of it as the text-porn-game equivalent of a monster invasion/sexploitation b-movie. It don't take itself 100% serious.

The game is not yet complete, by quite a long shot. At present, there's around 30 enemies to encounter, with most content currently stacked to the beginning of the game. It's grown pretty awesomely in the last month since it first shuffled its way out into the world, thanks to the good folks at the Corruption of Champions forum ( MMMRMG thread here), and it's got a lot more growing to do yet. Feedback, bug and typo reports and comments are always appreciated.
